We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities:

Build and maintain real-time data sourcing and ingestion framework (event-driven), business processing micro-services, data stores and also domain APIs.

Design and implement a robust data control framework to ensure completeness, consistency and accuracy of the data.

Identify AI empowered use cases and deliver AI solutions across the relevant business processes (e.g. data quality triage, root cause analysis, movement explanation and control optimisation)

Enable safe, controlled GenAI usage for technical and non-technical outputs: requirements drafting, test-case generation, release notes, reconciliation commentary, stakeholder updatesensuring correctness, auditability, and appropriate approvals.

Support production stability: incident triage, root-cause analysis, runbooks, cut-off management (EOD/intraday), and controlled releases.

Continuous improvement and renewal of the technology stacks. Research and adopt new technologies.

Actively participates and contributes to the wider engineering community on common engineering assets.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; AI/ML-focused education is preferred.

6+ years of engineering experience with solid hands-on development, testing, deployment and production maintenance experience (complete software lifecycle);

Hands-on engineering ability in Java, plus solid SQL and data engineering skills.

Rich experience in Micro Service solution, implementation and maintenance; Extensive knowledge and experience in Non-functional testing and performance optimization.

Big Data and Data Engineering relevant skills and experience is preferred. Experience in big data processing, real-time analytics, metadata management, data mesh, data lineage, etc. Familiar with relevant technologies such as Kafka, Spark / Flink, Airflow, Iceberg, Trino/Presto, etc.

Experience in building and supporting production-grade AI applications is added advantage especially end-to-end AI-powered applications or solutions, involving context engineering, tool/function calling, Model Context Protocol (MCP), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents and agentic workflows, etc.

Strong skills in leveraging AI in software development lifecycle (SDLC) while able to validate and evaluate AI outputs.

Product mindset with strong stakeholder collaboration skills.

Strong passion for technology, keeps learning and upskilled with new technical stacks.
