HSBCs Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) International Mid-Market (IMM) team in Qatar is looking for a high-performing Relationship Manager GCB5 to support, manage and grow a portfolio of internationally minded Corporates and with revenues from $100m to over $2bn. Youll act as a trusted advisor to clients with cross-border ambitions, connecting them to HSBCs international network and full suite of corporate banking solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Expand existing client partnerships and secure new, long-term relationships aligned with HSBCs international strategy.
  • Serve as a consultative partner, providing insights and guidance to help clients succeed locally and internationally.
  • Proactively identify and engage high-value prospects within your target market.
  • Collaborate with product specialists and international colleagues across HSBCs network to deliver tailored solutions and increase share of wallet.
  • Own the client experience and support junior colleagues in delivering high service standards.
  • Proactively manage credit, operational, regulatory and financial crime risks across the portfolio.
  • Ensure full adherence to internal policies, controls, and external regulations.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in Corporate Banking managing mid-market or large corporate relationships.
  • Proven ability to match client needs with solutions including Treasury & Cash Management, Trade Finance, Foreign Exchange, and lending/financing.
  • Strong commercial acumen and awareness of economic and regulatory trends.
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated capability in commercial lending and risk assessment.
  • A client-centric mindset, positive attitude, and drive to deliver results.
