We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Relationship Manager (Greater China) - Global Private Banking.

In this role you will:

  • Provides full-service banking and all transactions to Ultra High Net worth & High Net Worth individual clients, covering Greater China markets, through the marketing of all appropriate company services
  • Drive achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment
  • Grow HSBCs share of ultra/high net worth client wallet involving investment and product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the job holder is involved
  • Establish new relationships and manages existing relationship in order to generate new assets under management and Revenue
  • Establish and maintain networks for co-operation with other HSBC businesses, to support the creation of solutions to customer needs that span geographical/product boundaries and regulatory environments

To be successful you will need:

  • Relationship Management experience, ideally gained within the private banking, commercial banking or investment banking sectors
  • Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
  • Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
  • Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets and products
