We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Premier Banking Consultant.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and engage affluent clients primarily through remote channels, with occasional in-person engagement, delivering professional and personalized service.
  • Handle a broad range of client servicing and sales matters, ensuring timely and accurate execution of instructions and requests.
  • Respond to client enquiries, feedback, and complaints efficiently, coordinating with internal stakeholders for prompt resolution.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews, perform KYC (Know-Your-Client) updates, and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Identify and refer clients with wealth, investment or insurance needs to Relationship Managers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products to offer tailored solutions that support client goals and business growth.
  • Adhere strictly to Offshore Sales Processes, Cross Border Guidelines, and internal Risk & Compliance frameworks.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships that reflect service excellence and deep trust.

To be successful you will need:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
  • CFMAS (Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services) certification is required.
  • Advanced experience in managing Premier or Priority Banking clients, with a solid background in financial services or affluent client servicing.
  • Strong communication, client engagement and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Premier Banking products, client needs and regulatory requirements including compliance, credit and risk management.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking clients effectively. Cantonese proficiency is an advantage.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role. HSBC Group reserves its position with regard to any steps which it may take in relation to any material adverse findings which arise either when the checks are originally completed, and/or if relevant, on an ongoing basis.
