HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with operations in 64 countries and territories. We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics

In this role, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end CDH decisioning architecture (framework, patterns, scalability, performance, enterprise alignment).
  • Define and govern NBA Designer implementation (taxonomy, treatments, engagement policies, arbitration, 1:1 Ops Manager).
  • Translate business objectives into decisioning logic with Marketing/Product/Data Science (use cases, KPIs, rules, journeys).
  • Oversee data integration into CDH (real-time and batch feeds from CRM/DWH/event streams; data quality and availability).
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across Strategy rules, Data Flows, proposition/offer management, and model integration.
  • Set quality and governance standards (best practices, code reviews, solution audits, maintainability).
  • Drive optimisation and testing (performance tuning, simulation, A/B testing, monitoring, continuous refinement to improve ROI).
  • Ensure compliance and responsible AI (regulatory adherence, ethical AI, internal risk frameworks, auditability).

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Pega CDH decisioning mastery (NBA Designer, Strategy rules, Engagement Policies, Arbitration, Treatments/Taxonomy).
  • Real-time NBA solution architecture experience at scale (low-latency decisioning, omnichannel execution, resilience).
  • Decisioning model capability (Prediction Studio, adaptive/predictive models, championchallenger, model governance).
  • Data and integration skills (API/event streaming concepts, CRM/DWH integration, data architecture for decisioning).
  • Marketing & personalisation domain knowledge (customer lifecycle, campaign orchestration, contact strategy, omnichannel).
  • Quality engineering mindset (standards, performance tuning, testing, monitoring, maintainable configuration).
  • Stakeholder management and communication (explain complex concepts to business and technical leaders; influence).
  • Leadership and mentoring (coach architects, guide delivery teams, contribute to roadmap and thought leadership).

Youll achieve more when you join HSBC.
