Full Job Description

Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensure timely preparation, assistance and submission of all sorts of regulatory returns related to central bank, including but not limited to CRR-SLR, LCR, NSFR, RBS, Capital Adequacy, Stress Testing, CAMELS, ICAAP etc.
  • Coordinate and support in preparing Annual Financial Statements of the bank.
  • Contribute to the implementation of Bangladesh Bank circulars, regulations and guidelines relating to financial reporting and regulatory reporting.
  • Independently manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulators.
  • Interpret regulatory reports and produce insightful analysis of financial performance to senior management.
  • Support the business in improving liquidity and funding ratios (e.g., LCR, NSFR) and RWA optimization with detailed and proactive analytics and identifying cost saving initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of Finance-related change initiatives and projects.
  • Assist in strengthening the banks regulatory reporting framework, controls, and governance process.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from a public/ private university, preferably from Business background.
  • Partly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability, problem-solving and reasoning skills to solve a wide range of problems independently.
  • Excellent time management, communication, conceptual and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and amidst conflicting priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
