We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - RFP Writer

In this role, you will be:

  • Lead and complete RFPs, RFIs and DDQs for Institutional and Wholesale clients and consultants globally, across multiple asset classes and strategies.
  • Support HSBC Asset Managements growth ambitions by delivering high-quality, client-ready responses that articulate our investment philosophy, capabilities and competitive advantages.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, validate and shape accurate content and data.
  • Collaborate cross-border with RFP colleagues in other regions to deliver regional and global submissions, including shared DDQs and client documents.
  • Plan and manage work effectively in a deadline-driven environment, balancing multiple requests and shifting priorities.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, progress updates and proactive issue escalation where needed.
  • Apply strong attention to detail and problem-solving to address interpretation gaps, data availability issues and compliance considerations.
  • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of RFP processes, content quality and team efficiency.

To be successful you will be:

  • Have 36 years post-graduation experience in a relevant role (e.g., RFP/RFI/DDQ writing, client reporting, product specialist support, or institutional proposals).
  • Bring strong hands-on experience with RFPs, RFIs and DDQs, including applicable regulatory/compliance requirements and end-to-end delivery processes.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of investment products, asset classes, markets and institutional/wholesale client expectations.
  • Have working knowledge of performance and reporting systems, third-party databases and institutional standards (e.g., GIPS).
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in English (written and spoken), with strong investment writing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Show excellent project, organisational and time-management capabilityable to multitask, prioritise, and maintain high quality under tight deadlines.
