Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Fund Administration (AVP)

In this role you will:

  • Ensure optimal levels of client service and ensure client deliverables are met on time and accurate
  • Perform regular checking on client portfolios to ensure internal controls and company policies are in place
  • Ensure fund accounting operation is in compliance with all applicable ordinances and regulations
  • Review and update audit procedures on a regular basis and report any material issues
  • Evaluate current operation workflows and assist in the implementation of improvement initiatives
  • Maintain good relationship with inter-departments and inter-divisions to ensure an effective and efficient operation
  • Assist subordinates when necessary to ensure client enquiries and issues are resolved in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responsible for managing a small team and mentoring colleagues, providing training to subordinates on portfolio accounting, valuation process, reporting and any other fund specific procedures
  • Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects as required

To be successful you will need:

  • University graduate with a degree in accounting and finance or related discipline
  • Solid experience in fund services, fund audit or financial industry
  • Good understanding of fund administration, accounting, valuations, custody and banking services
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional client facing skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
