Wholesale Credit Risk is an exciting risk management function that helps protect the Bank while enabling sustainable growth. We make informed credit decisions by applying strong judgement, insight and integrity to anticipate new and emerging risks and challenges impacting our wholesale clients.

We are hiring a Wholesale Credit Risk Officer / Approver to provide credit oversight and approval support for a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients.


  • Oversee an assigned portfolio across multiple sectors; monitor market and industry developments and assess client impact.
  • Evaluate obligor creditworthiness and assign risk ratings; provide guidance to the business to ensure decisions align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Exercise delegated Credit Approval Authority with robust judgement and strong accountability.
  • Produce clear written approval comments and recommendations to support decision-making and maintain a strong audit trail.
  • Collaborate with client coverage and product partners; contribute to ad hoc initiatives and team priorities.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3 years of experience in credit risk/credit analysis (corporate portfolio experience preferred).
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative credit analysis skills; able to identify key risks across clients, sectors and structures.
  • Good understanding of wholesale banking products (e.g., loans, trade, derivatives) and related documentation.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Korean (written and verbal).
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or similar.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural environment; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
