Role Overview

We are looking for highly motivated students pursuing Cost and Management Accounting to join HSBC as interns. This internship provides hands-on exposure to financial planning, cost analysis, and business partnering within a global banking environment.

The role offers an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts in a real-world setting while gaining insights into financial decision-making in a large, complex organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Assist in preparation of management reports and financial dashboards
  • Work on variance analysis to identify trends and cost optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business performance drivers
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within finance
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to financial planning and analysis (FP&A)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduation is compulsory
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost management concepts
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of data tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
