We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an AVP, Lending Services.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure day to day processing is achieved within SLAs and KPIs
  • Initiate continuous improvements across all key areas of operations management, people, processes and systems
  • Build, maintain then enhance the operations culture/operational excellence of the department
  • To deliver high standard of customer service delivery
  • Ensure that feedbacks, complaints and enquiries from internal customers are promptly handled
  • Participate in project related to process that is required by business partners
  • Bring the voice of the customers into the processes
  • Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, guidelines, audit recommendations and procedures/procedural guidelines are adhered to
  • To implement the Group Compliance policy locally by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture
  • Manage operational risk associated with the role and take action to minimize the likelihood of operational risk occurring, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.

To be successful you will need:

  • A university degree
  • Experience in managing a team, good interpersonal skills, strong knowledge of operational processes, a strong analytical mind and related regulations is required
  • Familiar with Process Improvement Programme eg : 6-signma, Lean
  • Familiarity with Java / Coding Scripts to be able to use Low Code / Light Automation and to be able to develop programme run on the various programmes eg: Blue Prism, Power Apps, Alteryx
  • Able to support, mentor, help trouble shoot and improve current programmes rolled out by citizen developer
