Commercial Banking (CMB)

HSBC Commercial Banking serves millions of small, medium-sized and middle-market enterprises, providing commercial customers with a full range of banking services including multi-currency business accounts, payments and cash management, wealth management and insurance, and global trade and receivables finance, as well as a comprehensive range of financing solutions. With dedicated Relationship Managers and Business Specialists providing local support and advice in over 60 countries and territories, HSBC helps customers make the most of opportunities for their businesses.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  1. Actively target prospective customers to earn the business's primary banking relationship which includes, but not limited to, depository, transactional, payments and lending needs;
  2. Build up a strong network of referral sources to provide new-to-bank lead for sustainable channels of prospect pipeline;
  3. Establish a good customer portfolio mainly through new customer acquisition, and grow the portfolio through cross-selling of various banking products;
  4. Deliver a stellar customer experience by meeting and exceeding customer expectations through effective customer on-boarding, ensuring customer banking needs are being met, and fully representing the HSBC brand;
  5. Protect the bank's assets and reputation by performing due diligence on the prospect and their business.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

1. University graduate or above with 3+ years of financial services experience, preferably in a commercial banking environment.
2. Proven ability to identify and meet customer needs through a broad range of international products and services.
3. Good level of business acumen and international commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues.
4. Good communication, presentation and influencing skills.
5. Good command of written and spoken English.
