Job Purpose

To build and grow HSBC Premier Banking relationships with high-net-worth individual (HNI) customers, acting as a single point of contact and providing comprehensive banking support and financial advisory aligned to customer needs. The role focuses on delivering against business targets while meeting Global Premier Service Standards and ensuring strong conduct and regulatory outcomes.

Responsibility

  • Grow profit and portfolio value across Premier client relationships through new and existing business
  • Deliver agreed financial targets through effective relationship management and consistent service delivery
  • Conduct regular client reviews to understand needs and recommend suitable products and services
  • Identify wealth review opportunities and provide tailored wealth solutions aligned to customer goals
  • Build long-term client relationships that improve retention satisfaction and wallet share
  • Maintain accurate client information using client relationship management tools and disciplined record keeping
  • Manage a prospect pipeline and apply structured plans to deepen and expand relationships
  • Embed HSBC policies and controls including KYC AML and sanctions alongside sales quality requirements

Pro-tip : Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.

Eligibility & Educational qualifications

  • Graduate/ Post Graduate in any discipline with 4-7 years of relevant experience
  • Substantial experience as a Relationship Manager within the Retail or Premier Banking segment
  • Proven outcomes in wealth products with a record of meeting portfolio and revenue goals
  • Strong wealth management technical knowledge to provide suitable recommendations and advice
  • Experience building trusted relationships with high-net-worth individual (HNI) clients as a consistent point of contact
  • Capability using client relationship management systems to maintain accurate timely client data
  • Experience partnering with Compliance Credit and Risk and Internal Control teams to deliver balanced risk outcomes
  • Required local regulatory licences and accreditations for wealth management or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • AMFI IRDA NISM XXI A (PMS Certification) and NISM XIII (SIF Certification) or equivalent certification or equivalent demonstrable experience where required by the market.

Additional Information

Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
