In this role, you will:

  • Accountable for services allocated to you for vulnerability management, tracking and continuous improvement and infrastructure security base changes for Digital services/servers, primarily in the APAC region
  • Responsible for reporting the allocated services patch status to Regional / Global Environment Manager in a timely manner
  • Drive and be accountable for plans and schedules with a strong planning mindset and outlook
  • Maintain close working relationship with ITSOs to ensure shared communication of schedules/updates/changes/issues, and always looking for demise opportunities
  • Co-ordinate with REM for any help related to any challenges / issues - identify, and escalate if necessary and own until resolution, and to share updates
  • Ensure the list of servers/services assigned is maintained accurately by checking any new additions know what youre responsible for and own it
  • Ensuring cyclic patch management of OS/Middleware /DB per quarter as per agreement with ITSO for the full calendar year
  • Patch status to be compliant at all times, and immediate remediation be acted on should services be close to delinquency, with a priority on critical vulnerabilities
  • Responsible for raising changes (CRs), attending CAB and co-ordinating with support teams before and during the Change implementation
  • Change Records should comply with Change Management guidelines and standards
  • Ensure all appropriate services are on-boarded onto Patching Automation and DIGS, and encouraging use of the Patching Automation tool, working with PAT team on improvements/feedback
  • Timely escalation of risks and issues and mitigation by action and prioritization
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external technology standards and regulatory obligations
  • assigned is maintained accurately by checking any new additions before accepting into the list
  • Critical Vulnerabilities should always be actioned as per priority
  • Flexible to work over weekends/evening as per Changes schedules and resource requirement or availability
  • Utilising and updating Jira for co-ordinating work with Infrastructure engineersAbility to build strong relationships and communicate with a wide spectrum of stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication especially with senior stakeholders in Business & IT
  • Familiar with Jira, Confluence, DevOps tools, Agile methodologies
  • Experience of working with multi-disciplined, multi-location teams to timelines
  • Ability to work in an unstructured and changing environment and adaptable to managing changing priorities with the ability to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise
  • Self-sufficient and demonstrates initiative, and open to learn new practices and techniques
  • Strong co-ordination skills with the ability to influence others positively
  • Strong team player engaging and encouraging others with forward thinking approach
  • Open to different cultures, opinions and working practices

  • A high level of commitment and self-motivation, together with an ability to deal with stressful environments
