Functional Description: HSBC Securities Taiwan is a full licensed securities house with focus on cash equity brokerage business in Taiwan.

People Responsibility: N

Reports To: Reporting to Director and Head of Equity Execution

Role Purpose

  • To deliver best-in-class trade execution and market expertise while fostering strong client relationship managing trading risks and contributing to business growth through ownership and continuous process improvement.

Job Contents

  • Execute client orders accurately and efficiently. Deliver best execution while minimizing trading costs. Manage trading risks and resolve execution issues promptly. Handle complex or high-impact trading activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients. Monitor market movements and provide timely market insights.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Research, Operations, Compliance, and IT teams.
  • Drive process improvements and support trading system enhancements.
  • Contribute to business growth by enhancing client service and trading capabilities.
  • Risk control manage to reduce the error trade risk, conduct cash check, inventory check, check for accounts set up.
  • Reconcile daily and/or monthly reports, as assigned.

Qualification/License Requirement

Bacholer's degree or above

Relevant experience and knowledge of equity trading, different trading strategies, the marketplace, and market issues and good insights

Strong communication skills

Resilient and able to work at pace

Open mindset to communicate and discuss openly with internal and external stakeholders

Pre-requisite License Requirement: Qualification Exam for Securities Specialist or Senior Securities Specialist () ; Financial Sense and Ethics (FSE, 5)
