We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Associate Director, Corporate Sales.

In this role you will:

  • Identify and service corporate clients in the CMB Business Banking/Corporate segment, address their needs through the provision of client relevant products, solutions and deep market insight, and develop long lasting trusted relationships whilst improving product penetration and wallet share.
  • Provide digital and transactional services and capabilities. Manage transaction flow from order through to execution in conjunction with the relevant trading team.
  • Maintain awareness of the applicable regulatory and business environment and ensure compliance of relevant regulations and rules of the Bank
  • Work to become completely conversant in all aspects of the Rates and FX products, incorporating Interest Rate and Cross-Currency Derivatives, FX Options, Spot, Forward and Swap pricing into strategies as well as assisting with risk management decisions.
  • Identify sales opportunities that address specific needs for our clients and managing from identification to point of sale and through post trade process.
  • Own the growth of revenue for clients in CWB Business Banking/Corporate Banking, which requires collaborating with other internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Global Payment Solutons, and Global Trade Solutions, to service client needs and improve share of wallet.
  • Collaborate and works effectively with the other Corporate Sales teams through communication, performance management and client development plans, to strengthen client relationship and identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, quality or the way teams and individuals work together.
  • As a senior sales member of the team, provide leadership and guidance to less experience members of the team.

To be successful you will:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Hold relevant exams and qualifications to satisfy local and any cross border market regulations for non-advisory sales and trading activities
  • Good understanding of Markets, covering foreign exchange instruments such as Spot, Options, Swaps, Forwards and Futures and interest rate derivatives and an ability to understand and manage a diverse and sometimes complex, product set
  • Have self-awareness with the confidence to work independently and take responsibility for your own development
  • Able to work collaboratively with other colleagues, supporting them when possible
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, including advanced knowledge of Powerpoint & Excel
  • Create accountability and global standards for the solutions effort
  • Ability to construct and execute a business plan
  • Ability to translate market needs into marketable solutions for clients
