Functional Description:
HSBC Securities Taiwan is a full licensed securities house with focus on cash equity brokerage business in Taiwan.
HSBC Global Investment Research (GIR) is a CIB client servicing and revenue generating global business unit, positioned as one of the key business lines of CIB. GIR is an independent research house with a strong focus on Emerging Markets (EMs). We have analysts covering 1,700+ companies, 60+ economies, 45+ sovereigns rates and 50+ currencies globally. In addition to partnering with the CIB clients, Global Research also collaborates with the rest of the Group businesses, such as IWPB.

Role Purpose
Supporting senior tech analysts in Taiwan equity market in terms of financial modelling
Help set up meeting with company Investment Research (IR) and industry contacts
Eventually develop own independent coverage of own companies
Job Contents
Conducting research and technical analyses, keeping abreast of developments in field of expertise
Preparing presentation materials and media, which may include video, audio, and printed media
Presenting at seminars, conferences, and events
Serving the needs for research and analyses of external stakeholders, which will include investors
Participating in professional and industry forums to develop expertise
Qualification/License Requirement
University graduate or above
Substantial financial industry experience, especially valuations
In-depth understanding of Taiwans technology market, themes, and trends
Familiar with the operation of a large global banks and its culture
Logical writing skills, good presentation skills, solid communication skills, and good insights
Aggressive and driven attitude and results driven and client centric
English and Mandarin fluency and basic excel and PowerPoint, accounting
License requirement: Senior Securities License () and Financial Sense and Ethics (5) are pre-requisite license.
