We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

Assist banker(s) in managing the existing portfolio, acquiring new business and maintenance of relevant client management systems.

  • Gather information required for the preparation of credit proposals including financial analysis for new facilities, facility review and facility amendments;
  • Gather information required for the preparation of customer call reports;
  • Maintain & validate relevant client management system;
  • Follow up with customers on daily / routine credit operational matters;
  • Attend to routine matters arising from the portfolio of accounts assigned;
  • Handle both external & internal facility related enquiries;
  • Identifying cross-sell opportunities and assisting the Relationship Manager(s) in developing business strategies and marketing activities to maximize the Bank's profit; and
  • Act as backup Relationship Officier to the team.

Ensures good lending disciplines and safeguards the bank from potential loss due to non-compliance with local regulations/procedures.

  • Prepare CARM applications on new, amended and revised facilities, maintain an accurate, updated data in CARM system for transmission to Credit Operations;
  • Maintain and validate security documentations;
  • Maintain credit files in a timely and orderly manner to ensure that there is no overdue review;
  • Handle miscellaneous internal customer / product / credit related enquiries by coordinating and processing relevant MI and compliance returns;
  • Assist Relationship Manager(s) in achieving satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.

Increase HSBC brand recognition and assist banker in making HSBC the leading foreign bank in the local place .

  • Maintain a professional image when interacting with customers;
  • Assist banker(s) in various PR activities;
  • Participate in the bank's marketing/ promotion and sponsorship programmes

Develop skills to meet existing and future business needs.

  • Keep abreast of developments in the market and regulatory environment that may have an impact on our customers, business and risk;
  • Manage self-development including timely completion of mandatory courses, attend to relevant internal briefing / training / update as well as relevant learning roadmap / internal business school.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
