This business is uniquely positioned to help clients make payments across borders, currencies and regulations, quickly and efficiently with dedicated in-country and regional support. Our expertise in this area is repeatedly recognised by the industrys most prominent publications and associations with numerous global, regional, and country awards.

We are currently seeking experienced professionals to join our team in the role of Account Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an excellent client experience by providing timely, proactive and commercially focused support
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of corporate clients from a GPS perspective
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service quality and continuously improve the overall client experience
  • Address and resolve client queries and complaints promptly, taking ownership through to resolution
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to introduce GPS, increase portfolio revenue and strengthen client relationships
  • Analyse client account activity and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to recommend appropriate cash management solutions
  • Maintain an understanding of the external factors affecting clients, including economic, cultural, geographical and regulatory considerations
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of client outcomes
  • Adhere to HSBCs risk management, control, compliance and conduct requirements in all activities

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Mandarin language skills would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards relating to Cash Management products and services
  • An understanding of applicable local and international regulatory requirements
  • The ability to understand, validate and respond to client requirements while engaging confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • Influence team and individual performance and contribute positively to a collaborative working environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills, as appropriate to the role
  • Effective time management, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear and compelling presentations
