Analysts work on transactions that provide exposure to various investment banking services, including cross-border M&A, going-private transactions of US-listed Asian companies, and private capital raises across the capital spectrum.
Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst, you will:
Prepare, analyse and help explain historical and projected financial information
Create financial models
Coordinate and perform business and financial due diligence
Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations
Conduct research on sectors, companies and potential buyers
Value companies and businesses
Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients and prospective clients and professional advisors
Assist in planning of engagements

Requirements / Qualifications
If you have the following qualifications & experience, wed love to hear from you:
An excellent academic track record from a highly regarded university
A demonstrated genuine interest in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and/or in working on complex and cross-border M&A transactions
Ideally 6+ months prior internship / full-time experience in M&A advisory and/or related fields
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory
An excellent understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin required
Skilled in MS Office suite and financial databases (e.g. Capital IQ, Mergermarket)
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and hit deadlines in a highly organized manner
