Main Responsibilities
Your role will be split between:
Administration: Monitor the production databases clusters to identify bottlenecks, perform maintenance operations, and optimize inefficient queries.
Development: Work closely with the development team to provide development environments and promote coding best practices.
Projects: Take part in different projects like data warehouse, Master Data Management, and server consolidation.
Azure: Take part in the assessment and migration of on-premises servers and take part in Azure data platform administration.
Microsoft Fabric: support the team on the administration of Microsoft Fabric platform
Qualifications
5+ years of SQL Server DBA experience
Knowledge on SQL Always on / windows clustering
Deep knowledge in T-SQL coding and query fine-tuning
Server and database optimization
Hands-on experience with database monitoring and maintenance operations
Good level of English, written and spoken
Highly motivated and committed team player with strong sense of autonomy.
Databases assessment and migration to Azure
Azure managed instance administration
Microsoft Fabric administration
