Job Description:

Main Responsibilities

Your role will be split between:

  • Administration: Monitor the production databases clusters to identify bottlenecks, perform maintenance operations, and optimize inefficient queries.

  • Development: Work closely with the development team to provide development environments and promote coding best practices.

  • Projects: Take part in different projects like data warehouse, Master Data Management, and server consolidation.

  • Azure: Take part in the assessment and migration of on-premises servers and take part in Azure data platform administration.

  • Microsoft Fabric: support the team on the administration of Microsoft Fabric platform

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SQL Server DBA experience

  • Knowledge on SQL Always on / windows clustering

  • Deep knowledge in T-SQL coding and query fine-tuning

  • Server and database optimization

  • Hands-on experience with database monitoring and maintenance operations

  • Good level of English, written and spoken

  • Highly motivated and committed team player with strong sense of autonomy.

  • Databases assessment and migration to Azure

  • Azure managed instance administration

  • Microsoft Fabric administration
