Equity Research Analyst, European Asset Manager, London

We are now working with a global asset management firm based in London. They follow a long only investment strategy, looking to identify exceptional long term investments in quality stocks giving exceptional income or capital growth. The team has a very strong track record, and they are now looking to add an Equity Research Analyst to their London team.

The team works in a collegiate fashion, will all members of the investment group actively discussing, recommending and being involved in investment making decisions. The Equity Analysts sit with the Fund Managers.

The role involves:

Working closely with the Fund Managers on a day-to-day basis, discussing portfolio companies, new investment ideas and evolving investment theses.
Partner with colleagues to challenge assumptions, refine analysis and improve investment decisions.
Participate actively in weekly investment meetings, sharing insights on portfolio companies and new research.
Contribute to an open, collaborative culture where ideas are debated constructively and knowledge is shared freely.
Help develop and improve the teams research process, valuation framework, risk tools and use of technology.
Attend Investment Committee meetings and contribute to broader investment discussions across the firm.
They are very interested in meeting professionals who will have a background as follows:

Equity analysts with buy or sell side firms with c 5- 8 years research experience
Other exceptional professionals such as private equity investors
Exceptional academics
Real interest in financial markets and investing
Interested in long only investing
