YOUR IMPACT

The Process & Procedures Group (PPG) is a firstline business team focused on strengthening the Private Banks operating model by improving processes, enhancing controls, addressing Internal Audit findings and remediations, supporting issues management frameworks, and supporting the rollout of new products and initiatives. As a PPG Associate, you will help ensure the business operates efficiently for clients and internal teams, compliantly, and with welldocumented, scalable procedures that support the Private Banks significant growth objectives.

 

This role is highly executionoriented and sits within the business, partnering with stakeholders in the Private Bank and across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit, etc. to drive process clarity, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

 

Role Overview

The PPG Associate supports the design, documentation, and maintenance of endtoend business processes and procedures across the Private Bank. The role requires strong writing and interpersonal skills, sound risk judgment, and the ability to independently manage multiple workstreams in a highly collaborative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Risk & Controls

  • Assist in identifying and assessing operational risks and control gaps within business processes.
  • Support risk assessments, control reviews, and remediation efforts in partnership with Risk and Compliance teams.
  • Devising action plans in response to regulator and internal feedback to ensure the Private Bank has the right controls, policies and procedures to mitigate and manage risk from a first line of defense and ensure such action plans are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the Risk, Control and Self-Assessment (RCSA) including coordinating and executing requirements per Firmwide standards.
  • Assisting with the oversight, monitoring and reporting of the Private Banks issues management program.
  • Help ensure processes align with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and firmwide standards.

 

Process & Procedure Management

  • Document, review, and maintain clear, accurate business procedures, workflows, and process maps to support business, regulatory, audit, and operational requirements.
  • Partner with business owners to understand currentstate processes, identify gaps, recommend and implement enhancements that improve efficiency and control effectiveness.
  • Support the development of procedures for new products, platforms, or business initiatives.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Interface regularly with business teams, Internal Audit, Monitoring & Testing, Compliance, and Risk teams to support reviews, exams, and ongoing oversight.
  • Coordination of Private Bank audits (both internal and external), responses to audit or regulatory requests, including gathering documentation and tracking action items.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with crossfunctional partners to drive timely execution.
  • Organize, prepare and conduct the global Private Bank training agenda across all relevant teams.

 

Project Management & Execution

  • Support multiple concurrent projects, including process remediation efforts, regulatory initiatives, and business change programs.
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies across workstreams; escalate risks or delays as appropriate.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Private Bank.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Internal Audit or similar roles, which may include AWM/GBM Risk, 2LoD Risk, Controls/RCSA Management, Project Management or similar firstline / secondline functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of business and operational risk concepts, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong ability to write clear, structured, and compliant documentation for policies, procedures, and business processes.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a processoriented mindset.
  • Selfmotivated, collaborative, results oriented, and eager to learn in a fastpaced environment.
