Job Duties: Vice President, Banker Industry/Country Coverage with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Develop and review financial models for companies in the healthcare industry, including merger models, discounted cash flow models, and leveraged buyout analyses. Analyze accounting and regulatory statements, debt and equity filings, and financial projections as prepared in various formats by clients in the Healthcare space. Present to CEO / CFO level corporate clients in the healthcare sector on topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activities, restructuring alternatives and corporate governance issues at board meetings and pitches, and on conference calls. Manage live deal execution for companies in the healthcare sector, including running due diligence processes, negotiating legal documents with lawyers and potential buyers, organizing and attending deal and non-deal roadshows and liaising other investment banks and other internal parties. Research and grow expertise around various trends, themes and business models across the Healthcare industry. Guide junior professionals work product, including reviewing financial modeling work as well as presentations prepared for live deals, corporate board meetings, investment banking pitches and client service projects on corporate finance topics. Review and comment on complex legal documents including offering documents and stock purchase agreements.

Job Requirements: Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience (if a Masters) or five (5) years of experience (if a Bachelors) in the following: interviewing senior management, reviewing strategic operating plans, and analyzing historical and projected financial performance; performing valuation analyses, including DCF, LBO, accretion and dilution and ability-to-pay analysis, public trading comparables, precedent transactions, and sum-of-the-parts analysis by leveraging financial services databases including S&P Global Market Intelligence or Bloomberg; project management and execution of M&A transactions, including preparing deal origination pitch materials, engagement letters, marketing materials for sell-side transactions, roadshow presentations and prospectuses for IPOs and other equity offerings, marketing materials for debt offerings, and publicly filed press releases and investor presentations; and preparing presentations for C-Suite level corporate clients on topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activities, restructuring alternatives or corporate governance issues. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience in the following: managing live deal execution, including running due diligence processes, negotiating non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents with lawyers and potential buyers, and organizing and attending roadshows; reviewing, guiding and coordinating junior professionals work product, including financial modeling and presentations for internal and client audiences; and market data applications and Microsoft Excel to track volumes, workflow, and projects, including utilizing Pivot tables to manage large datasets, and V-lookups to minimize manual processes and efficiently manage risk. FINRA Series 79. Domestic travel is required up to 20% of the time per year to meet with current and prospective clients.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $250,000 - $275,000
