Full Job Description
Job Duties: Senior Associate, Asset Servicing with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Quality review of client elections for voluntary corporate actions. Coordinating with custodians, brokers, and agents to resolve event/election issues and instruct elections efficiently. Approve and oversee daily ad-hoc conversions and warrant subscriptions, validating event terms, entitlements, pricing/ratio accuracy, and DTC processing controls. Manage DWAC execution and controls with agents to ensure accurate security movement, funding alignment, and on-time settlement within DTC deadlines. Own breaks/balances management and resolution to ensure clean settlement. Oversee inventory readiness for upcoming events to ensure accurate allocations, election eligibility, and seamless client outcomes. Draft and monitor a weekly worst-case loss view for upcoming events, identify key exposure drivers and resourcing gaps. Partner with Engineering and product stakeholders on system enhancements (workflow automation, validations, exception reporting), translate operational pain points into requirements, and support testing and rollout to improve controls and efficiency.
Job Requirements: Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Quantitative & Computational Finance, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Quantitative & Computational Finance, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Masters degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelors degree) with: communicating with business stakeholders and team members; preparing and presenting reports to senior management; working on and prioritizing multiple projects with competing deadlines; data visualization tools including Tableau; and project management tools including JIRA and Confluence.
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York - based position is $109,000 - $126,000.
