The Culture Strategy Group in the Executive Office partners with stakeholders across Goldman Sachs to reinforce the firms culture, history, and core values through global programming, strategic initiatives, employee engagement, communications, multimedia content, and archival stewardship. The team helps preserve and evolve the firms distinctive culture by connecting employees to Goldman Sachs history, leadership priorities, business purpose, and commercial strategy through high-impact programs and storytelling.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Culture Strategy Group at Goldman Sachs helps preserve and reinforce the firms culture and 157-year history across the global organization with an objective to codify the strategy around preserving the firms most distinctive asset. The team consists of a small number of specialists who manage distinct functions, including history and archives, video and content creation, events management, program management, and communications.

The team collaborates with various stakeholders around the world and across divisions to drive consistent, impactful, and creative programming and initiatives related to the firms culture and history.

Role Summary and Key Responsibilities

  • The candidate will execute employee engagement programs and strategic culture initiatives sponsored by the Executive Office, partnering across teams to deliver innovative projects and enhance the employee experience
  • The individual will partner with senior stakeholders across the organization to cascade key messages on culture, the firms purpose, our core values, and commercial objectives through produced multimedia, content, and program delivery 
  • The candidate will support execution of events across several employee engagement and networking initiatives over the course of the year, including recognition award programs, speaker engagements, and milestone commemorations 
  • They will manage recurring operational processes, including project plans, timelines, KPI reporting, budgets, invoices, vendor coordination, briefing materials, and program documentation to ensure disciplined execution and measurable impact
  • They will partner with HCM on employee integration opportunities to embed culture content into employee programming including orientations and resources
  • The individual will develop presentations, briefing materials, and communications to support strategy discussions, stakeholder meetings, and program execution
  • The candidate will identify and help develop AI-enabled solutions that improve team workflows, streamline recurring processes, support content development, and create more efficient ways of working

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree, 1-4 years of experience at a financial services firm, marketing firm, consulting firm, or related industry
  • Results-oriented, self-directed with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects and function as part of a cohesive team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to work across various projects and with different stakeholders globally
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze content, and summarize recommendations
  • Demonstrates good judgment, integrity, and accountability
  • Creative mindset, intellectually curious, strong attention to detail, and identifies opportunities to improve processes 
  • Working knowledge of Copilot and other AI-enabled productivity tools, with the ability to apply them thoughtfully to improve processes and team workflows
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn through apprenticeship and hands-on execution in a high-performance environment

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $80000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
