The Goldman Sachs Private Family Office provides proactive financial counseling and full-service implementation to address the financial complexities of CEOs, founders, private equity principals and ultra-high net worth individuals and their families. Our clients value having a single point of contact to address their specific planning needs and manage their financial affairs. Our holistic approach incorporates financial planning in several areas such as: consolidated investment review, income tax preparation and planning, estate planning and wealth transfer, employee benefits, risk management, philanthropic planning and cash management.

A Client Analyst provides relationship management/support to clients and advisors by focusing on client service and team operations. Client Analysts play an integral role on the team regarding client data management and assist in the day-to-day duties regarding the client relationship.

We target a client ratio of 8-12 families per advisor. This ratio allows us to dedicate the needed time and resources to each clients unique financial circumstances to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Candidates should have an interest in financial planning and tax, and the desire to work closely with ultra-high net worth individuals in a team setting. We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to problem solve and can thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Client on-boarding and data management to ensure up-to-date information records
  • Tax data management, including requesting and organizing relevant tax data to be used in the preparation of client tax returns
  • Assist with tax season activities, including tax return quality control, liaising with third-party tax preparers, preparing estimated payment vouchers and e-filing tax returns 
  • Complete annual tax mailings and requirements (e.g., foreign reporting forms and tax disclaimers)
  • Assist with data gathering for the creation of client financial exhibits and in some cases helping the team to prepare certain exhibits when applicable (cash flow reports, etc.)
  •  Prepare documents for third-party investment subscriptions
  • Complete required paperwork for asset transfer and account service requests (e.g., letters of authorization)
  • Interface with internal groups to complete various investment and operational tasks
  • Monitor and report on quality control metrics 
  • Create and manage accounts and portals for secure communication with clients and third parties

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Client service experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Commits a high degree of focus to ensure excellent work quality and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
