DIVISIONRisk Division

Risk division is undergoing an AI-driven transformation to develop comprehensive processes that monitor, assess, and manage the risk of expected and unexpected events. Risk Applications team builds top-class engineering solutions for critical functions, including leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic workflows to compute the firms ongoing and stressed capital requirements. We work on a daily basis with requests from global regulators and central banks. 

We are looking for passionate engineers with strong programming skills and applied AI experience, who are willing to work with challenging use cases, in a fast-paced environment. We need interdisciplinary engineers who like exploring brand new fields and using various new and proprietary technologies.

Responsibilities and qualifications

  • Architect and deploy end-to-end AI solutions, including RAG pipelines and autonomous agents, to improve risk management processes.
  • Develop technical specifications, infrastructure designs, testing strategies, and implementation plans.
  • Learn about capital and regulatory requirements, and how to translate them into prompt engineering.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators, senior risk managers and senior business stakeholders.
  • Work in a team of talented engineers who are passionate about identifying patterns and building common solutions.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development, including a clear understanding of software design and core programming concepts.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience architecting and deploying AI solutions.
  • Programming experience with at least one imperative language (e.g. Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript).
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience with RAG architectures and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or Google ADK.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of Linux, SQL and version control systems.
  • Experience with building complex, distributed AI applications at scale.
  • An interest in Risk Management or in specific OTC derivative products.
