HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

Reporting to the Supervisor Planner fixed equipment, you will have the opportunity to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various equipment Your primary duties will be:

  • Undertake tasks related to inspections, installations, replacements, verifications, modifications, adjustments and maintenance of ore handling system, hydraulic hammers, ventilation doors, main ventilation equipment, sumps, compressor, pumping systems, conveyor, etc.
  • Troubleshoot, perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, the breakage analysis as well as parts inspection.
  • Operate equipment such as mat truck, Toyota, etc.
  • Observe the planning of the works submitted by your supervisor.
  • Apply various procedures to achieve the highest levels of performance in health and safety and environmental protection.

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • College diploma in Industrial Maintenance Technology combined with five years experience in plant maintenance in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
  • Diploma of Vocational Studies of Millwright, combined with seven years' experience in plant maintenance in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
  • Relevant piping experience.
  • You must have good knowledge of welding and cutting processes.
  • CWB qualifications or be in the process of obtaining them.
  • Have completed the modular training for mining workers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7.
  • Hold a valid drivers license and a general explosive permit.
