The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for assisting the Mining Geology and Production Departments in the definition of ore and waste removal at both the nickel/cobalt and calcrete mines at Murrin Murrin Operations (MMO).

The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for assisting the Mining Geology and Production Departments in the definition of ore and waste removal at both the nickel/cobalt and calcrete mines at Murrin Murrin Operations (MMO).
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure sufficient drill collar set out and drilling consumables are available for the drilling contractor for continued operation
- Ensure sufficient ore mark-up for each of the pit excavators for continued operation
- Mark out of ore/waste blocks
- Set out drill collars and pin flags for drilling
- Accurate validation of drill samples
- Enter validated sampling data
- Load drill samples onto trailers in a timely fashion
- Take ownership of any allocated projects
- Participate in field activities for near mine exploration work
- Ensure geology consumables always in stock
- Maintenance of mark-up equipment
- Ensure Geotech vehicles are sufficiently stocked at all times
- Participate in review and improvement of procedures
- Complete tasks as required by the geology team
About You

You will also have:
- Year 10 secondary education (with aptitude for science subjects preferred)
- WA C class Driver's Licence
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Able to work as part of a team and foster team building
- Work with attention to detail
- Work safely and not create or ignore hazards
