Sales Specialist, Fitch Solutions BMI

Location: Brazil, Sao Paulo

Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Director Sales Specialist to join our BMI commercial team based in our Saoi Paulo office.

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving new business and cross-sell sales efforts for BMIs solutions and subscriptions across accounts in the United States and Latin America. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role focused on developing and executing sales strategies across existing and prospective global accounts. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding BMIs commercial footprint by identifying client needs and aligning them with our macroeconomic, industry, country risk, and market intelligence offerings.

  • Develop and execute new business and cross-sell strategies across assigned accounts.

  • Understand client needs and position BMIs solutions effectively to address strategic and commercial challenges.
  • Conduct market research and remain informed on competitor activity, market trends, and client priorities.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by responding to and resolving client questions or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close deals effectively while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline updates, and client information within Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and research teams to support go-to-market initiatives and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings and contribute insights to improve team performance and commercial strategy.

What You Need to Have

  • 45 years of experience in a sales, business development, or account management role, preferably within financial services, research, data, subscriptions, or a related information services business.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of consultative sales techniques, sales processes, and pipeline management.
  • Experience using sales software, CRM systems, and other relevant business applications; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and sales performance data.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Relations, or a related field preferred.
