As a Software Engineer in Test (SDET), you will leverage technical expertise in automation, business domain knowledge, and data analysis to deliver high-quality, reliable software. You will partner with engineering teams to build scalable testing solutions, reduce risk, and ensure applications meet business expectations with consistency and confidence.
The Team
Within FFIO Quality Engineering, we partner with engineering teams across FFIO and Enterprise Technology to elevate product quality, improve delivery outcomes, and ensure systems are resilient, stable, and ready for scale.
The Role
In this role, you will work with a team focused on improving product quality and delivery performance. You will partner with engineering and business teams to increase system reliability, reduce defects, and strengthen overall product health.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain automated test suites to validate product quality and release readiness
Execute targeted manual testing where it adds the most value
Enable teams with effective test management practices that improve delivery outcomes
Partner with engineers to expand test coverage and reduce defect leakage
Continuously improve testing strategies, tooling, and execution to increase efficiency and effectiveness
The Expertise You Have
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3 plus years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
Strong programming/scripting skills (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Familiarity with API testing (Swagger, REST Assured).
Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
Design and implement test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements and coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects effectively.
Maintain documentation for test cases, scripts, and automation processes.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
High levels of engagement at the team and group levels; Desire to learn and impact outside your primary tasking.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
