About your team

IBOR Operations is responsible for the oversight of the Investment Book of Records security and cash position used by our Investment Management consumers. The IBOR Operations team ensure data accuracy in the IBOR system - our golden source for investment, which enables effective investment decisions to be performed by Fidelity Investment Managers.

About your role

Your primary role will be the day-to-day maintaining of records within IBOR as well as the validation of IBOR related activities in the European timezone.

This is a dynamic role with an opportunity to be part of an operations team which has presence in both EMEA and APAC. In this role you will:

  • Review and execute daily controls and adhoc processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues identified and collaborate with internal stakeholders for resolution.
  • Process transactions within the IBOR system to remediate issues.
  • Point of contact for internal consumers of IBOR data. Eg. Order Generation, Currency Management teams.
  • Support the ongoing development of the IBOR model through procedure and process updates as well as system testing.

About you

Our ideal IBOR candidate requirements are:

  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Experience in financial services; fund accounting, asset services, middle office etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of various asset classes ie. Equities, fixed income, derivatives.
  • Ability to communication effectively with a variety of stakeholders and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to problem solve.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise.
