The Role

In this role you will serve as a meaningful part of the HR team supporting the Workplace Investing business at Fidelity Investments. You will be one of the primary operational points of contact for HR Business Partners and other collaborators in the business. You will provide daily partnership on a wide range of work including supporting HR talent practices and transactions, problem resolution, data and reporting, auditing HR data, projects, and program management.

The Expertise Were Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 plus years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in operations, service delivery, and/or project or program management strongly preferred.
  • Workday HR experience preferred.
  • Proficient PC skills and Microsoft Office expertise, particularly with Excel.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to professionally partner with and influence partners at all levels in the organization.
  • Establish and maintain positive, trusting working relationships with members of the Fidelity Workplace Investing HR team and other partners.
  • Ensure timely and effective response to partners' requests and provide consultation to understand the underlying reasons for requests; recommend and contract for a solution.
  • Support HRs ability to present a point of view to business clients and advise accordingly such as coordinating significant organization changes, one-time bonus requests or support for job eliminations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality while managing high volumes along with a high degree of comfort with detailed processes and data while also working in sometimes ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to produce and manipulate large quantities of sophisticated, confidential information with high levels of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple concurrent objectives or activities while still meeting targets.
  • You are self-motivated, proactive, solution-oriented and respond quickly in urgent situations.
  • Curious and confident learner who asks good questions and looks for innovative solutions.

The Team

The group you will work in is the Workplace Investing Human Resources Strategy, Operations and Analytics team. This role is an important part of the team delivering high impact HR operations support including employee movement, pay review cycles, associate experience, and other initiatives. You will partner with business partners and business leaders across several business units and functions such as Enterprise HR, Finance and Data Analytics. You will have the opportunity to broaden your HR skills to build a proven foundation, develop a network and a career at Fidelity.

Fidelitys Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
