This lead data engineering role operates within the Asset Management Platform (AMP), working alongside Enterprise and Data Architecture to deliver data solutions for Investment Management,Trading and Middle Office functions. About your role As Fidelity strengthens its data engineering teams, this Engineering position will form a key part of the global team and will play a leading role in a new Data Engineering squad based in the Dublin Office. Operating with a global remit and across the data needs of Asset Man-agement, this role will be responsible for the skillsets within the team and the solutions devised across Snowflake & other data warehouses, data pipelines and enabling API based solutions. At a high level this will involve: Work with the central Engineering functions to support and define the standardisation principles for the wider department and drive adoption in the Asset Management Platform Promote the adoption of the latest data tooling and enterprise patterns for our data solutions Ensure learning and development pathways within the team are highlighted and encouraged Drive the adoption of automation and a test-driven development approach that is consistent across the department and helps sup-port our transformational roadmap and for cloud adoption at scale Work closely with the Architecture functions to implement and maintain a future state architecture in support of the business. Work closely with the Value Stream lead roles across the business and platforms to ensure the alignment on priorities Ensure Audit, Compliance, Regulatory & Risk requirements are embedded in the engineering framework and ways of working.
