About your team

Change management is about preparing, equipping, and supporting individuals to adopt new processes, technologies, or organisational structures.

Our purpose is to partner effectively with all GPS teams so that the leading technology solutions built by our GPS Delivery colleagues are fully utilised by internal teams and our customers. We also own stakeholder management with Legal, Risk & Compliance and ensure governance supports enterprise change standards, given our regulatory responsibilities

About your role
The Change Manager supports the delivery of change initiatives, working closely with senior colleagues to ensure business readiness and effective adoption of new processes, technologies, or organisational structures. This role focuses on stakeholder engagement, governance, and adoption of change to realise business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Readiness & Adoption - Assist in identifying and tracking readiness requirements and support the development and execution of readiness plans.
  • Training & Development - Assist in identifying training needs and supporting the delivery of training sessions.
  • Change Management & Governance - Build an understanding of the Enterprise Change Framework (ECF) and support initiatives in being compliant. Support initiative owners with artefacts and governance tasks.
  • Leadership - Demonstrate agile ways of working and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Risk Management - Support the identification and mitigation of risks related to adoption and readiness.
  • Overcoming Resistance - Assist in identifying sources of resistance and support communication and engagement activities.

  • Passionate about driving change and enabling adoption.
  • Resilient and adaptable to shifting priorities and ambiguity.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Some experience supporting change initiatives, ideally across different teams or functions.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, can adapt narrative for different audiences to build understanding and buy in
  • Familiarity of change management methodologies.
  • Good facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work within organisational structures and seek guidance when needed.
  • Basic understanding of lean-agile practices and governance frameworks.
  • Willingness to learn about GPS products and processes
  • Ability to pick up new concepts and initiatives quickly, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to learning.
