The Role

Fidelity Personal Trust Company, FSB (FPTC) is looking for an energetic professional to join its team as an Associate Regional Trust Specialist (ARTS)! In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing business into FPTC and supporting Fidelitys high net worth clients in all fifty states. This role can work out of Merrimack, New Hampshire or Smithfield, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be:

  • Educating Fidelity associates and trust grantors about FPTCs services and guiding them as they decide whether to name FPTC as successor trustee for their trust
  • Reviewing trusts to ensure that they meet FTPC's current acceptance standards
  • Working with FPTCs Regional Trust Specialists to collect required documentation and information to successfully onboard new and existing trusts in compliance with our policies and procedures

The expertise and skills you bring

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven record of working with trusts. The successful candidate should be able to read complex trust documents and have a solid understanding of personal and trust taxation, fiduciary law, and estate planning. The successful candidate will also have:

  • College degree or equivalent experience with 5 years related work experience
  • Paralegal certificate or CTFA designation welcome but not required
  • Ability to explain and present sophisticated information clearly and concisely
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and balance multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities
  • Strong team orientation and ability to function as a standout colleague

The Team

Fidelity Personal Trust Company, FSB is a federally chartered trust company that offers personal trust services to Fidelitys high net worth customers in every state. Our Regional Trust Specialist team provides education and guidance to Fidelitys client-facing associates nationwide, helping them to position FPTC as a successor trustee or current trustee for those clients. The position works directly with prospects, clients, clients counsel, and advisors and currently reports to the Vice President, Chief Fiduciary Officer.

Fidelity Wealths Customer Insights & Offerings is a newly established function, bringing customer analytics and wealth management offerings even closer together. The team is responsible for understanding the needs and behaviors of Fidelity Wealths customers and their families and developing offerings and solutions that meet their needs throughout their lifetime
