Job Summary
The Senior planning analyst- Logistics is responsible for coordinating governance and facilitating delivery of impactful business plans, stewardship reports, analysis and insights for the Global logistics team, which leads to better business decisions and leading performance for ExxonMobil supply chain team
What you will do:
- Support logistics strategic planning through annual corporate plan activity.
- Lead monthly financial & operational stewardship including value capture analysis, variance analysis, KPI performance tracking.
- Coordinate and derive insights from logistics stewardship by preparing key discussion materials, facilitating conversations with stakeholders, and delivering on actionable follow-ups
- Drive insight generation by engaging advisors and identifying opportunities for deeper KPI analysis as well as driving structural cost savings initiatives
- Respond to other ad-hoc business and analysis requests
- Champion process improvements and digital transformation, identifying best practices and scaling initiatives across the organization.
- Proactively look for ways to increase effectiveness and efficiency (eliminate, simplify, automate, standardize).
- Support development of various tools aimed at bringing better data visibility. Improvement of existing tools by engaging with different stakeholders.
- Ability to manage upwards and build relationships with leadership
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Bachelors degree in either Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), or finance, Business Administration or a related field from a recognized university scoring GPA 6.0 and above
- Minimum 4 years prior work experience in planning, Performance Analysis & Reporting, variance analysis. Familiarity or having worked in domains/companies eg supply chain, upstream facilities, oil & gas and operations highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with system like SAP, Tableau, Power BI.
- Skills like Analytical thinking, Adaptability, Communicating Effectively, Collaboration, Creating Business Value, Strategic mindset
- Experience with tools/system like Snowflake, Adaptive is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, proficiency in English and interpersonal skills.
- Results oriented, flexible and proactive in resolving issues
