The IT department is seeking new candidates to its dynamic team. The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration through site development to production.
What role you will play in our team
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating the companys network backbone, supporting globally distributed environments.
You will help ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across on-premises and cloud environments. This includes working with modern networking technologies, improving observability, and contributing to automation and continuous improvement of network operations.
Based in Buenos Aires, you will collaborate with engineers and users across different regions, contributing to global network initiatives and supporting business growth.
While this role covers a broad range of networking technologies, we are hiring for multiple teams. We value strong experience in some of these areas and a willingness to learn others, you are not expected to meet every requirement to apply.

What you will do:
Design, implement, and operate network solutions across LAN, WAN, and hybrid environments
Ensure network performance, availability, and reliability across global infrastructure
Strengthen network monitoring and enhance observability to improve troubleshooting capabilities
Support incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Collaborate with teams to support business requirements and network evolution
Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of network operations
Work with vendors and internal teams to maintain and enhance network infrastructure
Support network security practices including firewalls, segmentation, and access control
About You:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (must be graduated)
2+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure, or related roles
Experience working with enterprise network environments (LAN/WAN)
Understanding of core networking concepts (routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with network protocols such as BGP
Experience with at least one major networking vendor (Cisco, Juniper, Versa, or similar)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience working in collaborative or Agile environments
Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
Nice to have:
Experience with SD-WAN, wireless networks, or advanced routing architectures
Exposure to network observability tools (Datadog, ThousandEyes, or similar)
Knowledge of network security concepts (firewalls, ACLs, authentication)
Experience with scripting or automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar)
Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience working with global or distributed network environments
Experience interacting with vendors and third-party providers
The level and seniority for this position will be determined based on the candidates experience and skills. We welcome candidates with different experience levels who are eager to grow in Network Engineering.
