Job Role Description

Responsible for applying deep electrical engineering knowledge and experience for various classes of equipment including generators, power transmission, power distribution, electrical protection systems, emergency power systems, and specialty equipment. The position leverages business acumen and risk-based judgment to maximize value across the full lifecycle of oil and gas projects and operating assets through new equipment selection, failure analysis, maintenance support, technology application, and risk management activities. Works independently on moderately complex electrical engineering projects / assignments using judgement to address basic to moderately complex electrical engineering challenges with minimal instruction and prioritizes own work. [Advanced Electrical Engineer]

Job Role Responsibilities

Performance Analysis: Supports root cause investigations of recurring performance issues. Collaborates with OEMs and fleet engineers to validate performance trends and recommend operational adjustments
Maintenance Execution Optimization: Coordinates outage scope development with internal stakeholders. Supports planning teams with technical input and ensures lessons learned are documented and shared through CoPs. Participates in outage reviews for various sites
Fleet Analysis: Analyzes site and fleet data to identify performance gaps. Communicates findings to site leadership and supports implementation of improvement actions
Technology Advancement: Provides feedback on applicability and performance of applied industry technology to the appropriate CoPs to ensure fleet awareness. Supports evaluation of new technologies through pilot testing and data collection
Vendor Relationship Management: Participates in CoPs and vendor technical discussions and provides feedback on site-specific needs and learnings. Tracks vendor performance and escalates issues as needed
