Job Description SAP DRC

Position - SAP DRC Senior Consultant / Manager

 

Experience

  • 6 to 12 years of relevant SAP experience for B.Com / MBA (Finance) candidates.
  • 3 to 12 years of relevant SAP experience for CA-qualified candidates.

 

Educational Qualifications

  • B.Com with MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution, OR
  • Chartered Accountant (CA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business requirements and provide SAP FI/CO solutions aligned with best practices.
  • Configure and support SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes.
  • Work on end-to-end implementation, testing, deployment, and support activities.
  • Design and configure tax-related business requirements including indirect and withholding tax processes.
  • Support SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions for statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and external stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
  • Prepare functional specifications, conduct testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement recommendations.

 

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum one full-cycle SAP implementation project experience.
  • Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO).

Good knowledge of:

  • General Ledger Accounting (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Bank Accounting
  • Tax Configuration
  • Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
  • Understanding of financial closing and reporting processes.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and end-user support.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
  • Knowledge of country-specific tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Exposure to electronic invoicing, statutory reporting, and compliance processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead discussions with business stakeholders.
  • Candidate Profile
