Job purpose:

As a Transactions Support Services (Financial Due Diligence) Senior Consultant within EY-Parthenon, you will support private equity firms, corporate investors, and strategic clients in evaluating investment opportunities and making informed transaction decisions.

 

You will participate in financial due diligence engagements, analyzing historical and projected financial performance, earnings quality, cash generation, net working capital requirements and key business drivers. You will help clients identify transaction risks and opportunities and provide insights that support informed investment decisions.

 

You will work closely with senior team members and client management teams, contributing to high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced and international transaction environment.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients
  • Analyze historical financial performance, profitability, revenue trends, margins and key business drivers
  • Perform Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital and Net Debt analyses
  • Assess cash flow generation and working capital requirements
  • Identify key financial risks, opportunities and transaction considerations
  • Collect financial data from multiple sources and organize it into databooks to support due diligence analyses
  • Support the preparation of clear, insightful due diligence reports and client presentations that communicate key findings and transaction risks
  • Support and coach junior team members

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in one or more of these areas: Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory, Audit and Corporate Finance
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles; experience with IFRS and/or local GAAP is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to learn
  • ACCA or  ACA (or progress towards one) would be considered an advantage
