The Opportunity

 Join our Financial Services (FSI) team and collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals, bringing a global perspective to every engagement. Aligned with key industry sectors such as asset management, banking and capital markets, insurance, and private equity, we deliver integrated advisory, assurance, tax, and transaction services to leading organizations.

 

As a Team Lead, you will coordinate a team of interns and junior professionals, overseeing the delivery of audit support activities for EY offices. You will play a key role in guiding, coaching, and developing team members, while ensuring high-quality outputs, efficient workload management, and adherence to deadlines. You will also interact with local client teams across the financial services industry, contributing to effective communication and collaboration on ongoing engagements.

 

This position offers a strong mix of people leadership, client exposure, and operational coordination in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

 

Your key responsibilities  

 

  • Coordinates a team (+/-6 persons) who handle the delivery of audit related tasks as instructed and based on information provided by FSI Audit Teams
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitors workload, schedule the work and ensures deadlines are met
  • Provide coaching to the team and motivates team members
  • Review the work done by team members, documented in specified excel templates
  • Being accountable for the quality of the teams deliverables
  • Training new staff, as well as existing staff on various work related matters
  • Give timely feedback to team members
  • Provide various reports required by managers
  • Provide monthly follow up and analysis on relevant Key performance indicators
  • Contribute to relevant projects related to process improvement
  • Communicate effectively with EY FSI audit teams

 

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • University degree in Economics
  • 2-5 years professional experience as financial external auditor
  • English advanced level
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word

 

 

Ideally, youll also have

 

Proven experience in team coordination and meeting deadlines 

A strong team player with a collaborative mindse
