Product Owner

 

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a Product Owner at Senior Consultant rank to drive the execution of digital products and platforms by translating business needs into clear, actionable and value-driven product requirements. The role requires strong product ownership, backlog management, agile delivery and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to connect product decisions to measurable business value, outcomes and benefits realization. The core focus of the role remains Product Managementowning the product backlog, shaping user-centric requirements, enabling agile delivery and supporting adoptionwhile bringing practical exposure to value management concepts such as value cases, KPI definition, outcome tracking, prioritization by value and continuous value realization. The ideal candidate will bring experience in at least one sector or business domain, with life sciences/healthcare knowledge considered a strong advantage, and will work closely with business, engineering, data and design teams to deliver scalable digital solutions that create clear user and business impact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring features, user stories and enhancements are clearly defined, prioritized and aligned to business value.
  • Translate business needs, user feedback and domain requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements for delivery teams.
  • Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, engineering, architecture and UX teams to shape solution requirements and deliver high-quality product increments.
  • Support the execution of digital product initiatives, with awareness of business value, user needs and technical feasibility.
  • Apply value management principles to support prioritization decisions, linking epics, features and user stories to expected business outcomes, user impact, adoption goals and measurable value.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, story clarification and acceptance activities to ensure delivery teams have clear priorities and are sprint-ready.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and business, balancing user needs, stakeholder expectations, dependencies and delivery constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support MVP definition, release planning, testing, deployment and adoption of digital products.
  • Track product performance, adoption indicators and delivery outcomes, and support continuous improvement through feedback loops and iteration.
  • Support value tracking by defining relevant KPIs, benefits hypotheses and success metrics, and by using product feedback, usage data and stakeholder inputs to inform iteration and value realization.
  • Apply understanding of product considerations such as usability, data quality, security and compliance in product requirement discussions.
  • Bring experience in at least one sector or domain to inform use cases, workflows and prioritization decisions; life sciences or healthcare knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Prepare product updates, demos and working sessions for stakeholders, and support decision-making through clear documentation and progress visibility.
  • Contribute to agile, product management and value management best practices, reusable artifacts and continuous improvement across engagements, while ensuring product management remains the core delivery discipline.

 

Must Have Skills:.

  • Typically, 48 years of relevant experience in product ownership, business analysis, product management, digital product delivery or agile transformation roles.
  • Working experience with product and delivery management tools including Jira, Aha! and Azure DevOps for roadmap planning, backlog management, sprint tracking, prioritization, release planning and cross-functional delivery governance. 
  • Experience working on digital products, platforms or transformation initiatives in cross-functional delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of agile product delivery practices including backlog management, user story creation, prioritization, sprint planning, acceptance criteria and release support.
  • Working knowledge of value management in a product context, including value case support, benefits identification, KPI definition, outcome-based prioritization and value realization tracking.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, engineers, architects, designers and data teams in a cross-functional delivery environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clarify requirements, drive alignment and support delivery decisions.
  • Experience in at least one sector or domain with the ability to apply contextual knowledge to product requirements and prioritization
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum ways of working and experience supporting delivery of complex initiatives with quality and governance discipline.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Awareness of emerging technologies, analytics or automation capabilities that may support digital product innovation.
  • Fundamental knowledge of and some experience with GenAI or Agentic AI concepts and use cases will be an added advantage.
  • Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments, especially life sciences, healthcare or adjacent sectors.
  • Exposure to design thinking, customer journey mapping, service design, user-centric requirement definition and value-based prioritization approaches.
  • Experience using value management artifacts such as value maps, benefits registers, KPI trees, OKRs or outcome roadmaps to support product decisions is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in Product Ownership, Agile, Scrum, Cloud or related disciplines.
