The opportunity

As our Tax practice continues to grow, we are seeking an ambitious and motivated Tax Senior to join our Tax Compliance Team in Malta.

 

Our Tax Compliance Team works closely with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, helping them navigate their tax obligations effectively, proactively and responsibly.  This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge, work alongside experienced professionals, and make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Senior, you will:

  • Advise clients on their Maltese tax compliance obligations and filing requirements.
  • Assist clients in meeting their ongoing tax obligations in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Provide support on various direct tax matters and technical queries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date with developments in tax legislation and practice.

 

 Key Requirements

  • A recognised accounting qualification;
  • At least two years of relevant tax experience, ideally within an audit and accountancy firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and be open to new challenges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
