Senior Consultant People Consulting - HR Transformation
The opportunity
Join our growing People Consulting - HR Transformation team and help organisations transform their HR functions through innovative technology solutions. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with clients and colleagues to turn business and people strategies into practical HR solutions, contributing to the design and delivery of future-focused HR functions. Youll have the opportunity to develop new skills using the latest digital tools and technologies, collaborate with talented and supportive professionals, and be part of a diverse and inclusive team that values different perspectives and continuous growth.
This is a hybrid position based in Naarm Melbourne / Canberra Ngambri / Meanjin Brisbane / Warrang Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver HR transformation projects across areas such as HR technology, operating models, payroll, workforce management and broader HR function improvement initiatives.
- Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand business priorities, analyse HR processes and identify opportunities to enhance employee and service delivery experiences.
- Develop high-quality project deliverables, including presentations, process maps, business requirements, workshop materials and executive-ready recommendations.
- Coordinate project activities, facilitate stakeholder workshops and discussions, support business development initiatives, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in HR transformation, HR operations, HR technology, workforce transformation, or related consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, with the ability to analyse challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Exposure to HR service delivery models, including Shared Services, HR Business Partnering and Centres of Excellence.
- Experience working with HR technology platforms (e.g., HRIS, payroll, workforce management or employee experience solutions) and contributing to transformation or implementation projects.
- A collaborative mindset with experience coaching others, plus an interest in emerging HR trends, AI, automation and digital technologies.
