We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Cybersecurity team within the Financial Services Organization (FSO). This role offers a unique opportunity to grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working on diverse and high-impact projects within the cybersecurity domain.

In this dynamic position, you will:

  • Contribute to a broad range of cybersecurity engagements, including assessments, reviews, and strategic projects.
  • Gain exposure to multiple cybersecurity domains, allowing you to develop a well-rounded skillset.
  • Work on topics ranging from security operations and technical controls to regulatory and compliance-driven initiatives within the financial sector.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver pragmatic and high-quality solutions.

Skills and attributes for success

  • You hold a bachelors or masters degree in information security, IT, or a related field
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or an IT-related role
  • You have a strong interest in cybersecurity and a clear motivation to further develop your expertise in this field.
  • You are eager to learn, open to feedback, and willing to step out of your comfort zone to grow professionally.
  • You have a good foundational knowledge of IT; prior cybersecurity knowledge is a plus, but a strong motivation to learn is equally valued.
  • You possess strong communication skills in English and Dutch or French.
  • Detail oriented, problem solving skilled, client focused, with a pragmatic approach
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and are motivated to engage with multidisciplinary teams, both within cybersecurity and across related domains (e.g., AI, Risk, Technology Consulting).

What we offer you

  • You will be part of the EY family where everyone is willing to offer support and senior management is very accessible.
  • You will join a dynamic and growing team with a great mix of young and experienced professionals focusing on financial services.
  • You will get extensive trainings  on technical matters, as well as soft skills and project management, and you will have access to new technologies and innovative equipment.
  • We are proud of our flexible working arrangements, and we will support you to build a successful career and deliver excellent client service, without sacrificing your personal priorities.
  • While our client-facing profession might require part-time working at client site and business traveling at times, we are committed to helping you achieve a lifestyle balance.
