Junior HR Generalist

 

Location: d - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

 

As a Junior HR Generalist, you will support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, providing first-line support to employees and managers across HR processes. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate administration, timely case resolution and a positive employee experience while gaining exposure to a broad range of HR activities.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Providing first-line support to employees and managers through HR service channels, responding to queries related to HR processes, policies, systems and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Supporting one or more HR operational areas such as onboarding, employee data management, job changes, leaves of absence, benefits administration or offboarding.
  • Processing employee lifecycle transactions and maintaining employee records in HR systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Managing and updating tickets, requests and cases within HR case management platforms, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Preparing and maintaining HR documentation, employee letters, templates and process records in line with company standards and compliance requirements.
  • Escalating complex or non-standard cases to senior team members while ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Collaborating with HR teams, stakeholders and business partners to ensure effective and consistent service delivery.

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • 2-3 years of experience in Operations, Administration, HR Shared Services or a similar HR Ops and Admin support role.
  • Experience providing first-line support for HR processes or administering at least one HR operational process.
  • Understanding of employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, employee changes and offboarding.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

 

Ideally, you'll also have

 

  • Experience working with HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in a shared services, global business services or international environment.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, employee data management and service delivery best practices.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, documentation management or knowledge management initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
