About the role:

The Staff member in the GTES SaaS Centre of Excellence will support the endtoend implementation of EYs Global Tax E-Invoicing Services (GTES), is EY's cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed to help organizations comply with global e-invoicing and e-reporting. It enables businesses to generate, validate, transmit, monitor, and store tax-compliant electronic invoices while meeting country-specific regulatory obligations.

You will work with engagement teams and clients in configuring the tool, testing, and deployment of e-invoicing for multinational clients.

The role offers working closely with tax, finance, ERP, and technology teams to ensure compliance with global e-invoicing regulations and digital tax reporting requirements.

Responsibilities / Business Requirements

  • Participate in end-to-end e-invoicing implementation projects for multinational clients.
  • Configure e-invoicing solutions based on client business requirements.
  • Support integration between ERP systems and e-invoicing platforms.
  • Analyse and resolve data, configuration, and integration issues identified during testing and deployment.
  • Analyse country-specific e-invoicing and digital reporting requirements.
  • Track implementation risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, providing timely updates to leadership.
  • Validate userprovided information and support onboarding to the GTES User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment and Production environment.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to develop and test API integration.


Implementation & Configuration

  • Support the end-to-end configuration and implementation of GTES solutions for client engagements, delivering e-invoicing projects for multinational organizations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Validate system access, user information, and content requirements to facilitate the successful setup and configuration of GTES accounts.
  • Analyse and resolve data, configuration, and integration issues identified during testing and deployment.

 

Data & Compliance Support

  • Monitor regulatory changes related to e-invoicing requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Support data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accurate e-invoicing reporting compliance.
  • Perform review of exceptions flagged by system analytics and suggest corrective actions to engagement teams.

 


Client & Engagement Collaboration

  • Provide support to client & engagement teams on configuration queries.
  • Help maintain documentation, trackers, and process logs as part of the standardized SaaS CoE methodology.
  • Communicate clearly and provide timely updates to leads, contributing to smooth project delivery.

 

Product Quality & Governance

  • Ensure accurate implementation of indirect tax rules and governance controls aligned with global standards.
  • Maintain strong adherence to quality frameworks, audit trails, and documentation guidelines.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, or configuration enhancements and escalate them to product/content teams.
  • Actively participate in knowledgebuilding sessions, complex module walkthroughs, and crosscountry learning forums.
  • Support development of best practices and reusable assets for future implementations.
