FP&A, Global C&I Finance - Assistant Director
 
We are a globally connected finance team supporting the Client & Industry (C&I) CFO, Industry Leaders, Account Leaders and Global Finance Leadership Teams.
We work as a collaborative team of innovative thinkers, offering critical insight to help shape EYs C&I strategy, strengthen commercial outcomes, and support the execution of the All In strategy.
Our work spans financial analysis, modelling, strategic insight and technology-enabled transformation connecting across the matrix to drive better business decisions.
What we look for:
   Experience in strategic finance, FP&A, analytics or business modelling. 
   Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial and non financial data. 
   Proven communication skills to convey insights clearly to senior stakeholders. 
   Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate across virtual, multicultural teams. 
   Confidence to challenge constructively and propose better ways of working. 
   Commitment to leveraging AI, automation, and digital tools to modernize finance and enhance insight generation.

Responsibilities:
Analyse business challenges & provide forward looking insights
   Analyse diverse datasets (financial + market) to generate actionable insights for C&I strategic priorities.
   Develop forward looking projections, market informed commentary and evidence based recommendations for C&I CFO and leaders.
   Build business cases that interpret strategic outlooks and highlight implications for industries, accounts and C&I performance.  
Support C&I leaders and strategic objectives
   Act as a primary advisor to C&I pillar leaders, Industry and Account Leaders, and the Global FP&A CFO.
   Prepare regular updates, leadership briefings, and talking points for executive meetings.
   Provide functional expertise on broad C&I strategic initiatives.
Drive transformation and promote the use of technology and AI
   Promote and embed the use of global finance tools (FR, Revenue Analyzer, ThoughtSpot, EY analytics platforms).  
   Apply AI, automation and modelling techniques to enhance scenario analysis, reporting accuracy and efficiency.
   Modernise C&I finance processes by introducing digital solutions and identifying operational improvement opportunities.
Enhance performance and decision-making
   Support planning cycles, integrated modelling, budgeting and risk-aware decision-making across C&I.
   Deliver high-quality outputs quickly and effectively, ensuring insights are meaningful and business-relevant.
   Build relationships and influence senior stakeholders across Finance, Industry, Quality, Talent and Regions.
Coaching, collaboration and team contribution
   Mentor and coach colleagues to develop analytical, technical and advisory capabilities.
   Foster collaboration across SLs, Regions and matrix teams to share best practice and drive integrated ways of working.

Skills and attributes for success 
   Graduate/professional certification in Finance, Accounting or a related subject.
   Strong grounding in corporate financial management and FP&A.
   Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
   Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to manipulate and visualise data effectively.
   Familiarity with EY reporting tools (FR, Revenue Analyzer, ThoughtSpot, Essentials).
   Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships.
   Ability to work across time zones, operate independently and deliver under pressure.
    Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical application in finance.
